Busy week. New job. Still have a nasty cold.
Tonight I'm going to see Lost In Translation again with a group of student-friends of Mara's. Dinner will likely follow the film.
I played 2 hours worth of Indonesian Scrabble Wednesday night with Mara, before we had to place the game on hold because it was taking far too long. The letter frequency in Indonesian is obviously different than English; the letter 'k' is one of the most common letters, but Scrabble only has one k, but twelve 'e's, which are nowhere near as common in Indonesian as in English. So you're screwed from the start, unless you do some footwork and have extra tiles.
I ate at a Vietnamese restaurant last night in Oxnard called "Pho Saigon". My first time eating Vietnamese. It was filling, but I didn't care for the fish-sauce it all seemed to taste and smell like. It permeated everything.
